Rechargeable technology
At Phonak, we utilize the full extent of lithium-ion batteries for our rechargeable solutions, thus allowing us to create a sustainable and durable hearing aid without any compromise.
With a full day of hearing and streaming, our rechargeable hearing aids consistently deliver excellent performance. Battery tested to last 6 years*, reliability is not an issue, and for this reason we are able to completely integrate the battery into the hearing aid.
The sealed battery makes it more robust and provides optimal protection from dust and water. This results in 15% more reliability compared to solutions with exchangeable batteries. With that being said, our proven lithium-ion rechargeable hearing aids have already appealed to more than a 1/4 million people worldwide.

Phonak rechargeable hearing aids are fully featured hearing aids with a built in Lithium-ion rechargeable battery. The rechargeable hearing aids offers full day* of battery life on a single charge.

With rechargeable batteries, clients benefit by having hassle-free hearing without having to change batteries or carry extra batteries with them. Using a Lithium-ion battery, there is the additional benefit of reduced deterioration and degradation of the battery over time without affecting hearing aid performance. Furthermore by removing the battery door, this has improved the durability of the hearing aid. Hearing care professionals also benefit by having more counselling time that can be spent on topics not relating to battery changing and maintenance.
Remove the hearing aids from the Phonak charger and press the push button for 3 seconds until the indicator light briefly flashes green. The hearing aids are now switched on and ready for use. At the end of the day, simply place the hearing aids into the charger. They will click into the slots and automatically switch off. The green indicator light flashes slowly to indicate charging. Once the light stops flashing and remains solid the hearing aids are fully charged and ready to for use. Charging time for a completely depleted hearing aid is 3 hours.
